NOCN Level 3 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Youth Work Practice (QCF)
These qualifications have been developed and designed to ensure that people who are working or wish to work in youth work settings have access to the necessary training and qualifications to work as assistant youth support workers and be able to progress onto further qualifications to work as youth support workers.
The level 2 qualifications are aimed at people with at least 12 months experience of working with young people (13-19 years of age).

The level 3 qualifications are aimed at people with at least 12 months experience of working with young people (13-19 years of age and 19+).

Learners must either be working with young people or have a substantial placement in a youth work setting, as a considerable amount of assessment is assessed through performance in the workplace. The minimum requirements for eligibility for the qualifications include a minimum of 3 hours per week for 6 months in a work setting.
