IT User Skills (ITQs)

These qualifications have been developed using e-skills UK, the Sector Skills Council (SSC) for Business and Information Technology's units and rules of combination. The qualifications aim to equip individuals with the IT user skills needed for full participation in employment and society.

NOCN Level 3 Award / Certificate / Diploma in IT User Skills (ITQ) (QCF)

The qualifications recognise the needs of employers for ICT qualifications that reflect real-world skills, and the challenges of workplace learning enable recognition of the skills that employers want across the range of levels.

IT for User Skills Qualifications Additional Guidance on the Rules of Combination should be used in conjunction with the Qualification Guide. It is of particular relevance to Internal Verifiers and Quality Reviewers.

Minimum age: 14

SCAAT points: Level 1 Award - 12.5, Level 1 Certificate - 25, Level 1 Diploma - 75, Level 2 Award - 23, Level 2 Certificate - 46, Level 2 Diploma - 138.
