Access to Higher Education

OCN Eastern Region is an AVA licenced by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).

This means we can approve and accredit Access to HE Diploma qualifications.

In our most recent licence review by the QAA, we received an ‘outstanding’ outcome with nine commendations – confirming our widely-recognised reputation for quality. The full report can be found on the QAA website.

Students: If you are interested in studying for an Access to HE Dipoloma you can use the Access to HE Course Directory to find a college near you or a subject you are interested in.

Access Providers: If you want to develop a new course, our Access specialists are able to guide you along the way in developing Access to HE Diploma courses and gaining certification.

Access Moderators: OCN Eastern Region supports Access Moderators with events throughout the year to ensure the quality and standard of Access Provision.

Higher Education Institutes: Universities and other partner organisations play a vital part in ensuring Access to HE Diploma courses are fit for purpose and prepare students thouroughly for higher education.
