The technology seeks to interpret the complete emotional structure evident in individually assessed conversations (excitement, pain, fear, cognitive activity and more). The correlation between these various emotional stress characteristics determines whether a statement was, amongst other things, truthful, deceptive, uncertain or inaccurate.

Under no circumstances are decisions ever taken solely on the basis of the Voice Risk Analysis (VRA) technology and comprehensive training and support is provided to all staff engaged in the solution. This dual approach vastly reduces the subjectivity of an operator's opinion in critical decision making, enhancing it with underpinned and robust insight.

DigiLog’s skills based training programmes are accredited by OCN Eastern Region and are tailored to each organisations requirement, incorporating modules such as: Customer Service, Communication, Risk Screening, Advanced Interviewing, Investigation, Quality Assurance & Mentor Training.

One of DigiLog’s many clients to benefit from the training is Provident Insurance Claims Validation Unit who was recently acknowledged to be DigiLog’s best performing Insurer client.  This was thoroughly deserved as the team have consistently out-performed other insurers for a number of years. The team’s hard work and enthusiasm for finding fraud has produced savings for the company of £9 million since it was introduced in 2005.

On winning the award, Provident Insurance Claims Validation said “We now use DigiLog to screen theft, fire and single vehicle accidents and we plan to expand into vandalism and third party claims.”
